6.7-magnitude earthquake in Alaska

The quake took place 3 a.m. EDT (0700 UTC) Friday morning in the earthquake-prone, sparsely populated Aleutian arc, some 400 miles (600 km) from Anchorage.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) says a 6.7-magnitude earthquake has struck off in an earthquake-prone, sparsely populated region off the southwest coast of Alaska. The quake occurred at 3 a.m. EDT (0700 UTC) Friday morning, May 29, 2015. The epicenter is approximately 70 miles (110 km) south-southeast of Ugashik – nearly 400 miles (600 km) southwest of Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage – with the earthquake’s center estimated at 20 miles (33 km) deep.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that no tsunami was expected. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

5.1M earthquake strikes North California near Mount Shasta Volcano — DIRECTLY at Trinity Lake Dam

A noteworthy 5.1 magnitude earthquake has struck Northern California near Mount Shasta volcano, directly at Trinity Lake Dam.

The Northern California earthquake directly followed an even larger 6.8M which struck just minutes before off the coast of Alaska.

The Alaska earthquake was just a few hours after a large unexpected volcanic blast from a volcano in South Japan. The Japan blast, the Alaska earthquake, and this California earthquake all occurred within less than 12 hours time...

For reasons unknown, the 5.1 tremor in Northern California does not yet appear on the USGS or CSEM / EMSC websites, while the quake shows up on the Global Incident Map website, as seen below

Also notice that all of California and parts of Arizona and Nevada are greyed out (data unavailable) on this HAARP Status Report map for May 29th, while Texas and much of the Gulf Coast display the highest reading (color-coded purple).
